Does a HealthType Change Affect the Mind Section?

Purpose

This article explains how shifts in HealthType positioning can influence the Mind section of a user’s profile, and what remains unchanged.

Before You Start

  • HealthType results are based on body measurements and composition.

  • The Mind section includes both changeable and stable cognitive traits.

  • A small HealthType shift may not alter the profile meaningfully.

Step 1 — Understand When the Mind Section Changes

  1. Movement of approximately 20–30° on the HealthType circle may change the Mind section.

  2. The area most affected is the “Using your mind for mindfulness” subsection.

  3. These insights reflect how a user filters and processes information, which can shift with physical changes.

Step 2 — Example of a HealthType Shift

  1. A user with a Primary Activator #145 HealthType may show visuospatial, movement-focused processing traits.

  2. If their measurements shift and they now present as Connector #155, their Mind section may reflect stronger occipital activity and social-oriented cognitive traits.

  3. This is due to anatomical and sensory system emphasis in the new position.

Important Rule

Do not assume all cognitive traits have changed. Only the mindfulness-related processing may be updated.

Step 3 — What Stays Consistent

  1. Most of the Mind section remains stable over time.

  2. These aspects reflect core cognitive and emotional traits that are less dependent on body morphology.

  3. Changes in life stage, behavior, or mindset may influence interpretation—but not the structural foundation.

Tips

  • Encourage clients to revisit their Mind section if they have experienced significant physical change.

  • Reassure clients that stability in most cognitive traits is expected.

  • Use HealthType shifts as an opportunity to discuss growth, self-awareness, and adaptability.
